Dis of the Day.

When you're not at the gym getting your fitness on, fashionably - what in the world inspires you to wear track pants and call them an acceptable fashion statement to make?

Uh hello...are you effing kidding me???

Erin Wasson

Clara Paget

How gorgeous is Erin Wasson above? Gorgeous from waist up. And what about Clara Paget? Killer jacket and luxe accessories totally ruined because of those swishy pants with an elastic waistband...I repeat, an elastic waistband.

This horrible look can be yours for the small price of $1,195 if you decide to be inspired by Sonia Rykiel's Contrast-trimmed crepe straight-leg pants.

Why would you ever do this to yourself??? Let me save you the time, money, pain, and humiliation...don't.

Whoever said Black isn't Retro?

Whoever said sunglasses needed to have obnoxiously colorful frames in order for them to be considered "retro" is dead wrong.

Yes, pink or red frames certainly are a trait of the "retro" style, but it is the shape of the frame that determines whether or not the sunglasses fit this category.

Sidenote: Neon green is not "retro," it's tacky and cheap looking. I don't care if it's Dior Limited Edition. Neon sunglasses are such a NO in my book.

You can go "retro" by sticking to black, and here are a few examples of how...

A Seventeen Moment.

It's my youngest sister Lindsay's birthday today. She's 17...going on 21 in my parent's eyes, going on 12 in my eyes. The baby of the family maybe...but really, not so much anymore.

Today got me thinking of my 17th birthday and how much I've changed since then. Worldly, I've become quite a bit more educated on how not to get raped in an alley behind a nightclub, what drinks at Starbucks have more calories than a daily caloric intake should total, the technical aspects behind playing hard to get and winning...those sorts of things. Change has occurred even more so in the looks department - goodbye Snooki poof and leathery fake tan. I have managed to embrace my natural "Casper the Friendly Ghost" complexion and have taught myself the art of a blow out.

Emotionally how much have I changed? Hardly at all. Relationship wise, of course I've grown, and grown a tougher skin with constant triumphs and falls. But at the end of the day, I'm still the same 5 year old princess bellowing at her kingdom with a fairytale in mind.

Oh, to turn 17 again. I got my very first Louis Vuitton bag from my parents on my 17th birthday.

That's what I remember the most about that day.

Sparkles in the Sun

No matter what the season or occasion, it's always acceptable to get a little glitzy with it. Of course my favorite time to bring out the sparkles though, would have to be in Spring...for some reason, the sparkle in my closet awakens with the warming sun and wants to play. After all, sparkle is never more fun than out in the sun.

I've taken a more casual approach to glitz, and picked out some fabulous sparkling pieces to get glitzy with this Spring during the day...

Front-Ruffle Peplum Dress

Just kidding - a little bit too aggressive on the sparkle factor. This look by Givenchy is quite a sight though. I can appreciate it more as art than fashion.

Now onto the real picks...

Do It Myself?

DIY - Do It Yourself

The DIY trend is at an all time high right now, not just because of our pitiful economy (so long weekly facials and $50 spa pedis!), but because it has become a really huge statement in today's fashions...particularly, among the blogging world.

Gratification from buying a really fabulous maxi dress - high. Gratification from making a really fabulous custom maxi dress for a penny of the price - higher.

We as human beings, get off to making our own creation.

I, unfortunately, have a difficult time with the "DIY" aspect of DIY.

Do It Yourself? Sure. Do It Myself? WTF.

I can't even manage a DIY manicure, let alone waiting for a DIY manicure with rhinestones and snakeskin embellishments dry while turning a denim jumpsuit into a really fabulous studded vest that looks like it deserves to be walking right down the runway and forever posing on the red carpet.

How do these DIY-ers do it themselves???

I've got to get to the bottom of this.
I want to find out.
That is why I am challenging myself to DIY.

But, I am asking you to help in one teeny tiny way...

Please submit your favorite DIY!!! It can be a DIY that you came up with, one that you have tried out in the past, a DIY you've spotted on someone else's blog that you think is really fabulous, you name it.

How to Submit: by email, on twitter by @LPriceSOright -ing a link to your DIY, leaving a comment on my facebook fan page, or by posting a comment on this post.

I will choose one DIY to tackle, and see if I can finally do it myself and feature "my creation" on LisaPriceInc. - along with the original creator of the DIY.

Wish me luck!

Puddle Jumpin'

It's raining and pouring, you've got leopard furry socks on your feet and are wrapped up to your little Chanel diamond logo studs in vow to not move until the sun comes out again.

Until you receive that text summoning you out to play...

Your velour sweats and glittery Uggs (the only outfit you were planning on putting on this evening for that Pinkberry run - yes, it's California, we have frozen yogurt no matter what climate is brewing) are just not going to cut it.

What in the world are you going to wear, Dear Fashionista?

Outfit choice is a breeze, no need to stress. Something warm, yet chic...instantly layering pops into mind and you're flooded with inspiration.

Footwear on the other hand...those Louboutin boots? Don't you dare. You will ruin the suede or leather the instant your red soles hit a puddle.

Let me help you choose one of these puddle jumpin' footwear options depending on your event at hand...

Fleeing to another hide out? You just need something to swim across the pond in. What better than a pair of Jimmy Choo Hunter Rain Boots to make the swim in. The crocodile print makes this pair a promising choice.

Heading to dinner? Make your shoe of choice smart, yet still stylish as ever with this chic rain boot. Loeffler Randall's Rain Boot has a rubber toe for practicality and zipper running down the back for a hot fit. Win, win.

Club hopping? (Sounds miserable in the rain, but if that's your choice...) Try the Perforated Ankle Boot by Walter Steiger. It's hot enough to dress up for drink, and the cut outs allow for easy water drainage, should you happen to step off the wrong curb and into a small river.

"Meow," says the Kitten Heel.

Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast at Tiffany's

Kitten Heel. Love? Hate? Meh?

I find myself switching my opinion on the classic staple hourly. To be quite honest...what is the point? In my mind, you either wear "practical" flats or skyscraper heels.

When I'm working, I work it conservatively with a pair of suede Tod's or Fendi flats. When I'm playing, I play with the boys by towering over them in a pair of 5 inch Louboutins. It's really so simple.

So, kitten heel...where do you fit in?

Suri Cruise

Perhaps on Suri Cruise? Well, of course...but, you can also be over the age of 5 to rock these. And although I am not an expert, I did my research and came up with a few ways how...

1. The bolder and brighter, the better.

Tess Daly

2. When wearing a skirt, go nude to lengthen legs.

Jennifer Aniston

3. Overloading on accessories balances.

Reese Witherspoon

4. Boot up your kittens.

Sienna Miller

5. Add a fun edge to skinnies.

Miranda Kerr

Now, here are three fun kitten heels from this season that are totally wearable any way...
