Tennis Sundays?

There is nothing in this world that I enjoy more than tennis on a Sunday afternoon. Practice makes perfect, but these looks from Hermes are perfection:

Hermes 2010 RTW Spring Collection

Bombers, Blazers, Balmain...Oh My.

How often during "the warmest days of the year" do you go into your closet scrambling to find some type of warmer winter clothing to layer with your summer outfit because it really isn't all that hot out?

Instead of snatching up an old winter piece to go with your daisy dukes, having a go-to jacket that works well thrown together with many staples is key. Color variation, detailing (studs, fringe, rhinestones), and unique draping are generally things to look for when trying to find a hot signature piece to work well into every season. As long as it isn't too boldly "seasoned" one way or another, the intricate detailing will make it a creation of your own fashion statement instead of a seasonal piece.

I am a huge fan of the Balmain RTW Spring/Summer 2011 jackets:

Skinny Love.

I wish there was a way to put into words just what this song means to me, but maybe that's the whole point of having a meaningful don't have to use your words. Just listen.

Noir Jewelry.

I just found this fantastic jewelry line called Noir Jewelry. They make creative pieces collaborating with talented designers like Mattel, for a Barbie line and also a beautiful jewelry collection with Patricia Field. Gwen Stefani is a huge fan of Noir Jewelry and was seen wearing pieces at her recent fashion show for her own line, L.A.M.B.

Noir Jewelry is a full line of jewelry in necklaces, bracelets, rings, and earrings. Great costume pieces, perfect for a fun night out or if you just want a bold piece to look down at in the office. I find the rings to be the funnest of them all and I picked out a few to show you below:

Royal Rhino

Chrysanthemum Flower

Frog King

Diana the Panther

Mean Valentino Reds.

Holly Golightly: You know those days when you get the mean reds?
Paul Varjak: The mean reds, you mean like the blues?
Holly Golightly: No. The blues are because you're getting fat and maybe it's been raining too long, you're just sad that's all. The mean reds are horrible. Suddenly you're afraid and you don't know what you're afraid of. Do you ever get that feeling?

Spring Spikes.

Christian Louboutin Spring 2011

These are fabulous. I hated the overplayed, evil looking silver spikes from last season's Loubs...they seriously looked like a medieval weapon of torture. I however, love love LOVE the fun magenta on gold for Spring! These will glow right into summer along with your tan.

Lanvin: Bargain Pet Up For Adoption.

Lanvin Patchwork Fur Scarf
Original: $4,548
NOW: $2,046 on

This fur scarf is a fusion of purple hued immersion-dyed alpaca (Peru), immersion-dyed fox (China), immersion-dyed mink (Finland), and immersion-dyed raccoon (Canada). Beautifully finished edges, made in Italy.

Why do I want to so badly post my paypal account for all of my beloved blog readers to donate to my pet animal fund?

*lisapriceinc. does not tolerate animal cruelty and is for only pro-fur for the sake of fashion.

Missoni Hits a High Note.

As much as I adore Missoni visually, the structure of about 99.9% of the pieces drive me crazy. I get that the high points in the Missoni collections have always been about the knits, textures, colors, etc., but after noticing the terrible structure of the garments, the high points have never really sold it to me.

This morning however, as I was clicking through the Missoni website in search of a new bikini (no one has to worry about the structure of a bikini...remember, structure when wearing a bikini is all you, not the fabric), I completely got over this cold shoulder towards Missoni and now want every piece of the Summer 2011 collection.

Yes, the draping is still a little awkward to me, but the vibrancy and bold emotion that have been woven into the patterns of these garments are INCREDIBLY empowering as to say, "I'm so IT, I don't even need to think about how I'm wearing this fabulous garment over my shoulder right now. Here, I'll even toss it around a little bit to prove how much I don't care, that's how much you love it on me."

Suzanna Dai

"The Suzanna Dai customer is sophisticated and glamourous with a dramatic edge, an adventurous and sometimes quirky dreamer who appreciates the nostalgia and style of the past while passionately anticipating the thrill of tomorrow."

Suzanna Dai, not to be confused with the creative force behind the Suzanna Dai collection, Suzie Gallehugh, is a collection influenced by old-world travel, exotic destinations, and diverse cultures. The intricate pieces are all hand-crafted with beautiful components that cater individually to the Suzanna Dai customer.

I recently fell head over heels in love with this line of jewelry. I think it is so beautiful and unique, and for all that it is, the price point is very practical. I cannot wait to start my own collection of Suzanna Dai jewelry. Here are a few of my favorite pieces:

Sui-eet Find!

Designer Anna Sui's embellished tulle and lace dress can make your next showcase at a party a delicate vintage affair. It is such a fabulous piece with an elegant, yet girlishly charming flare to it.

Shown here with Reed Krakoff shoes...personally, I'd get Off the Krak and wear with a lighter and more feminine pair of strappy heels. Jimmy Choo is a good choice.

I found this dress on for $1,065.
Product code: 115796.

Color of Passion.

"The shiny red color of the soles has no function other than to identify to the public that they are mine. I selected the color because it is engaging, flirtatious, memorable and the color of passion." - Christian Louboutin

Iain Crawford

”I love the fusion between paint and model. The resulting shapes are as opulent as any piece of bespoke couture. The excitement and anticipation as we waited to see the next piece of unpredictable chaos was electric. There was something magical about how random chance materialized into beautiful images in front of our eyes.”
-Iain Crawford

Iain Crawford is a talented photographer who is based in London, works internationally, and captures images galactically. In creating these images, primarily for advertising printwork and international top branded campaigns, Iain's work captures a developing emotion and feeling of the context, but in a way that is portrayed through strong graphics and symmetry. Iain focuses on grasping the raw beauty of an imaged, although structurally, not raw at all.
