Wed in McQueen.

It is every girls' dream to fall in love, marry a handsome Prince, and become a Princess. This fairy tale has been instilled into our hearts at a young age and never quite leaves most of us.

It is my dream to be wed in Alexander McQueen...

Humorous Heels.

"In my artistic footwear design, the shoe is my canvas, the trigger to create a new piece comes when an idea, a concept and/or an image comes to mind. The piece is a wearable sculpture. It is alive. Most of the inspirations are out of the 'shoe-world,' and give the footwear an extreme transformation. The result is usually humoristic with a unique point of view about footwear." - Levi

Kobi Levi, Israeli designer specializing in creative footwear, makes heels an object of humor. By incorporating heel mishaps, such as stepping in gum or slipping on a banana peel, and exotic animals, including the tucan, Kobi Levi makes your playful footwear an object of discussion.

Me Time.

Here I am sitting in Starbucks, sipping a triple shot espresso with soy and two add shots (yes, I am aware that it makes it a 5 shot espresso drink, but I don't admit to drinking over lightly including "two add shots" at the tail end of my order, it makes my caffeine addiction seem less severe and much more manageable). Emailing on my MacBook, blogging on my iPad, talking, tweeting and texting on my iPhone...and I consider this "me time."

How in the world could being connected to a million people, places, things, ideas, and feelings constitute as "me time"? Not one portion of what I am currently doing is even directly associated to myself. This blog of my rambling thoughts isn't even for me, it's for you!

Step away. Devote time for yourself. Give your attention to the "me" in your time...even if it's just for a moment.

With that, I'm off to yoga.

Just Moody?

"They say it is better to be poor & happy then rich & miserable.
But how about a compromise like moderately rich & just moody?"

-Princess Diana

Combined Flaws.

I no longer believed in the idea of soul mates, or love at first sight. But I was beginning to believe that a very few times in your life, if you were lucky, you might meet someone who was exactly right for you. Not because he was perfect, or because you were, but because your combined flaws were arranged in a way that allowed two separate beings to hinge together.

Irresistible Desire.

Love is an irresistible desire to be irresistibly desired. -Robert Frost

Marchesa Jumped the Suit.

Marchesa Jumpsuit. These pieces are beyond. The "masculine" structure form vs the elegant lace and the delicate draping utterly takes my breath complete away.

Studded Prowl.

How incredible is that leather jacket featured in the above look? This piece was made to kill all in it's path, by Burberry Prorsum, Spring 2011 collection. Who knew our studded Louboutins would ever get this fierce of competition?

Leg Art...tight?

French company, Les Queuese de Sardines, creates these limited screen-printed by hand tights. I thought they were so unique and a wonderful way to turn your legs into art...tight?
